We hold a high bar - for precision, for follow-through, and for treating patients like people in command, not cases to manage.\nThe Role\nYou set the direction for our AI co-clinician - the system that reads every patient's longitudinal graph continuously and surfaces what matters, always cited, always grounded in the record. Not demos: orchestrated multi-model and agentic systems that hold up when a real patient is on the other end.\nWhat you'll do\nDrive the architecture of the AI co-clinician: orchestrated multi-model pipelines, RAG grounded in the patient's record, and agentic workflows that are reliable, not just impressive.\n\nSet technical direction on what's worth building and what's a dead end - and bring the rest of the team with you.\n\nOwn the evals, observability, and NOHARM clinical guardrails that catch overconfident output before a patient does.\n\nBe the in-house skeptic on your own systems. In healthcare, a confidently wrong model isn't a bug - it's a patient-safety event.\n\nUse AI tools daily to multiply your output while keeping your judgment in the loop. Inquisitive by default: \"wouldn't it be cool if we could…\" - and then you build it.\n\nWhat we're looking for\nStrong AI/LLM/RAG development experience - proven in production, not in notebooks.\n\nPrior experience with machine learning systems, not just today's generative AI and LLMs - you understand what came before and why it still matters.\n\nA demonstrated ability to drive direction on orchestrated multi-model and agentic AI products.\n\nThe judgment to design evals and guardrails as first-class parts of the system, not afterthoughts.\n\nHealthcare domain expertise is a plus, not a requirement - the bar is rigor and direction-setting.
