You will work closely with the founder/CEO to refine the product vision, drive product innovation and delivery, and grow with a strong technical team.\n\nKey Responsibilities :\n\n- Design, develop, and scale backend services using Node.js and TypeScript, including REST and GraphQL APIs\n\n- Work with Prisma or TypeORM, and relational databases like PostgreSQL\n\n- Design and implement data pipelines using tools like Airbyte, dbt, and Apache Airflow/AWS Glue\n\n- Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure including ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda functions\n\n- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment\n\n- Design and optimize data warehousing solutions\n\n- Stay updated with the latest trends in backend development, incorporating new technologies where appropriate\n\n- Drive innovation and efficiency within the team\n\n- Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to best practices\n\n- Optimize API performance for optimal user experiences\n\n- Participate in the entire development lifecycle, from initial planning, delivery and maintenance\n\n- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure platform stability and reliability\n\n- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure high quality releases\n\n- Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers, offering technical expertise and constructive feedback\n\nRequirements :\n\n- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field\n\n- 4+ years of hands-on experience in backend development using Node.js and TypeScript\n\n- Strong experience with AWS services (ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) and infrastructure management\n\n- Proven experience with data pipeline tools (Airbyte, dbt, Apache Airflow, or AWS Glue)\n\n- Strong proficiency in SQL and data warehousing solutions\n\n- Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD implementation\n\n- Experience working with PostgreSQL and other relational databases\n\n- Proficiency in TypeScript and its application in Node.js\n\n- Experience with ORMs like Prisma and Sequelize\n\n- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queuing systems\n\n- Strong track record of end-to-end ownership of product features from conception to delivery\n\n- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies\n\n- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills\n\n- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment\n\n- Excellent written and oral communication skills\n\n- Must be able to work with a 4-hour overlap with Eastern Time Zone\n\n- Self-motivated and proactive attitude\n\nPreferred :\n\n- Experience with disaster recovery and backup strategies in AWS\n\n- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation\n\n- Strong DevOps experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker)\n\n- Experience with other cloud platforms (GCP/Azure)\n\n- Contributions to open-source projects related
