You'll be the driving force behind keeping projects on track, on time, and within budget, while building strong relationships with clients and internal teams alike. You unblock and tackle developers and remove dependencies before they become a problem. You can identify risks, conceptualize multiple scenarios, and chart a path to success. You are goal-oriented, and you believe in continuous improvement.\nResponsibilities\nLeadership\nEnsure project success\nWork closely with an agile development team throughout the entire project lifecycle\nFacilitate scrum ceremonies, including daily sprints, mid-sprint reviews, and retrospectives\nFacilitate continuous improvements of the team and its processes using a servant leadership style\nIdentify and resolve problems, questions, dependencies, and other team dysfunctions\nTrack team velocity, health, and sprint progress, and surface risks to the appropriate stakeholders\nOwn budgets, timelines, scope, and risks \nAct as the client’s primary contact on projects and radiate information and transparency.\nProvide high levels of client communication and customer service\nTake clear notes on action items and effectively disseminate information and tasks to the team\nReport weekly to the manager on project health (including budgets, schedules, and scope concerns)\nReport weekly/monthly status updates to clients\nQualifications Required\nAgree with our Corporate Values Statement.\nBelieves in the company's mission:to help people.\nBelieves in the principles of open source.\nAdvanced to fluent English communication skills are essential for this role.\n3+ years of experience in project management or other applicable roles.\nDirect work experience in the digital realm and knowledge of development project life cycles\nDirect work experience with a variety of software development methodologies and project management tools, i.e., SCRUM/Agile and Kanban.\nNice to Have\nDegree in Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.\nScrum certification (PSM).\nPlease note that Metal Toad will never ask for payment or financial information during the hiring process.
