Wisconsin Centrifugal's Maintenance Department in Waukesha, WI, currently has a need for an Industrial Electrician.\nDuties include:\nIndustrial electricians are working from diagrams and schematics, installing and servicing plant electrical distribution and control systems including working on switches, control panels, electronic devices and other related gear.\nIndustrial electricians troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide variety of electrical equipment, including:\n Foundry equipment (ARC and induction furnaces and casting machines)\n Machining equipment\n CNC machine tools\n Material handling equipment. \nPerform all service in compliance with applicable codes, including NEC and OSHA.\nIndustrial electricians may instruct and assign work to other Electricians.\nRequirements\nQualifications include:\nRequires completed electrician’s apprenticeship or similar experience. Experience as an industrial electrician a plus.\nExperience in installation and troubleshooting of relay and PLC, controlled equipment.\nExperience in programming of PLC's a plus. \nRequires thorough knowledge of applicable codes.\nKnowledge of DC motors and drives, AC motors and variable frequency drives, Servo.\nExperience working with high voltages greater than 480v a plus.\nDemonstrated ingenuity and problem solving ability.\nAbility to work in a team environment with minimal supervision. \nMetalTek International, Wisconsin Centrifugal Division, is conveniently located about 2 miles Southeast of I-94 in Waukesha, WI.
