Growth Engineer

What you’ll do

• Rapidly design and implement lightweight technical solutions to test growth and product hypotheses in user-facing flows
• Hack together and ship frontend-driven experiments and features that improve activation, conversion, or engagement
• Implement A/B tests and instrumentation pragmatically, optimizing for learning speed while maintaining experiment validity
• Iterate aggressively based on results, user feedback, and constraints, prioritizing impact over elegance when appropriate

Requirements

• Strong frontend engineering skills, with clear ownership of user-facing features and product UI quality
• Strong at implementing backend logic and API integrations, as needed.
• Able to turn vague growth ideas into concrete, shippable technical solutions
• Solid intuition for user behavior, funnels, and friction in real products
• Data-literate: can write basic SQL to sanity-check outcomes and guide iteration
• Bias toward speed and impact over perfect architecture

Experience

• 3-5+ years of experience building and iterating on products used by real users
• Proven experience shipping frontend features used by real users, with iteration based on feedback or data‘
• Hands-on experience running A/B tests (or similar product experiments) and iterating in a data-driven way
• Professional experience with B2C / consumer-facing products
• Experience with product iteration, growth-related work, or independent app development is a strong plus

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or above. Practical skills, judgment, and shipped work matter more than formal credentials.

Nice to have

• Interest in anime, otaku culture, creator communities, or related consumer products.
• Interest in AI generation
