Over the years we have fostered a culture in which we are united by shared values-passion, solidarity, generosity, curiosity, and boldness-and these come alive in the work we do and how we do it.\nTogether, we know our people are our difference-for our clients and our colleagues.\nAre you ready to:\nWork alongside a dedicated and diverse set of people to offer honest advice and practical guidance to our clients?\nLearn and grow by taking advantage of every opportunity available to you?\nJoin a company which prides itself on its shared values and inclusive culture?\nBe the difference and make it happen?\nRole Summary\nWe are seeking a ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, configure, integrate, maintain, and enhance ServiceNow applications supporting a large DHS enterprise technology environment.\nThis position will work across new development, application modernization, workflow automation, systems integration, troubleshooting, operations and maintenance, testing, and release activities.\nThe role specifically calls for expertise supporting ServiceNow Core Services, CMDB, Knowledge Management, Service Catalog, Workflows, App Engine, ITSM, reporting, automation, security, and portal/workspace modernization.\nWhat You Will Be Doing\nDesign, develop, configure, test, deploy, and maintain ServiceNow applications and solutions.\nDevelop and enhance:ServiceNow ITSM\nApp Engine\nCMDB\nKnowledge Management\nService Catalog\nReporting\nServiceNow workflows\n\nModernize and optimize ServiceNow portals, agent workspaces, reports, and dashboards.\nConfigure and develop workflows supporting IT, employee, customer, and application processes.\nDevelop integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise applications, services, databases, and APIs.\nTroubleshoot application issues and implement defect fixes and enhancements.\nSupport onboarding and offboarding of ServiceNow customers and application capabilities.\nTranslate business requirements and user stories into technical ServiceNow solutions.\nParticipate in Agile/Scrum delivery, including sprint planning, backlog management, demonstrations, testing, and retrospectives.\nSupport unit, system, integration, regression, usability, accessibility, and user-acceptance testing.\nParticipate in release, configuration-management, and production-support activities.\nDevelop and maintain appropriate system and technical documentation.\nEnsure solutions align with DHS security, accessibility, architecture, and development standards.\nWhat We Need From You (Required)\nBachelor's degree in a technical or related discipline.\nCurrent ServiceNow certification.\n5+ years of overall software development/programming experience.\n3+ years of relevant hands-on ServiceNow development and configuration experience.\nExperience developing applications, workflows, integrations, or automation using the ServiceNow platform.\nExperience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise ServiceNow applications.\nUnderstanding of Agile application-development practices.\nAbility to translate business and technical requirements into implemented platform functionality.\nBonus Points (Desired)\nServiceNow ITSM, App Engine, CMDB, Service Catalog, Knowledge Management, reporting, or workflow experience.\nServiceNow portal or Agent Workspace experience.\nEnterprise API and system-integration experience.\nExperience with cloud and Microsoft enterprise environments.\nFederal government or DHS experience.\nKnowledge of federal security and accessibility requirements.\nExperience supporting enterprise applications through development, release, and O&M.\nWork Location\nRemote in the U.S.\nEducation\nBA/BS in a technical or related discipline\nClearance Requirements\nMust be able to obtain a U.S. DHS Public Trust suitability determination.\nU.S. Citizenship Required.\nBenefits & Perks\nAt MetaPhase, we care about your well-being and success.
