The work combines application development, testing, integration, DevSecOps, and cybersecurity to help mission teams deliver and sustain critical capabilities.\nMetaPhase is seeking a Software Developer with at least 8 years of relevant experience todesign, build, test, secure, and sustain mission applications. This developer will work with users and technical teams to resolve software problems, integrate applications with enterprise services, and automate application and configuration deployments.\nWhat You Will Be Doing\nCode, test, debug, and deploy new software and enhancements to existing applications using disciplined engineering and version-controlled development practices.\n\nTranslate user, business, performance, interface, quality, and security requirements into maintainable application designs and tested software components.\n\nCollaborate with users, technical staff, security teams, and product stakeholders to diagnose software issues, resolve defects, and prioritize improvements.\n\nDesign and implement secure integrations with standard software packages, APIs, databases, and enterprise services.\n\nImplement security lockdowns, secure coding practices, automated testing, logging, and quality checks that support reliable application operations.\n\nAutomate application and configuration deployments, updates, patching, and rollback procedures using approved CI/CD and configuration-managementtechnologies.\n\nProduce technical documentation and user materials, support training activities, and incorporate customer feedback into application improvements.\n\nWhat We Need FromYou (Required)\nMinimum of 8 years of relevant experience in software development, application engineering, systems integration, or a closely related technical discipline.\n\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, engineering, or a relatedfield.\n\nEligibility to obtain and maintaina Top Secretclearance with SCI access. U.S. Citizenship is required.\n\nAdvanced proficiencyin object-oriented or modern application development using languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or comparable technologies.\n\nHands-on experience with software design, debugging, unit and integration testing, source control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment or configuration-management technologies.\n\nExperience applying secure coding practices, vulnerability remediation, security configuration controls, and automated quality checks within the software delivery lifecycle.\n\nAbility to communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with users, software engineers, testers, security teams, and deliveryleadership.\n\nWhat Sets You Apart (Preferred)\nExperience developing or modernizing software for Federal, law enforcement, intelligence, cyber, or other mission-critical environments.\n\nExperience with cloud-native or hybrid application development, including AWS, Azure, or comparable regulated environments.\n\nProficiencywith Git-based workflows, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, or comparable development and deployment tooling.\n\nExperience integrating enterprise applications with APIs, databases, identity services, commercial software packages, and automated patching or deployment solutions.\n\nExperience developing technical documentation, user guides, test evidence, release documentation, and training materials for operational software.\n\nCurrent TS/SCI clearance and demonstratedexperience supporting work in secure on-site environments.\n\nWork Location\nWashington, DC metropolitan area. On-site support is requiredbased on customer access, system classification, and mission needs.\nRemote Schedule\nHybrid, subject to customer direction and secure-environmentaccess requirements.\n\nTravel\nTravel may be requiredfor mission workshops, technical working sessions, or program activities.\n\nEducation Level\nMinimumbachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, engineering, or a relatedfield.\n\nClearance Level\nThis position requires an Active Top Secret clearance with SCI access.\n\nU.S. Citizenship required.
