METECS is a growing small business and we are looking for someone to grow our IT team and infrastructure as we expand our business.\nResponsibilities:\nManage IT team members to provide maintenance and operation of the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, computing hardware, cloud deployments and enterprise software.\nPlan, coordinate, and manage the IT department projects, budget, policies, and procedures.\nCommunicate with company leadership regarding status and future plans for IT department.\nCollaborate with other department managers and project managers to assess and support IT needs.\nEnsure the IT team provides timely resolution of user issues and requests.\nSupport IT operational and compliance needs of both commercial and government projects.\nOversee implementation and maintenance of security controls across infrastructure, cloud environments, and end-user devices.\nWork with the Information Security Manager to identify risks and vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with ISO 27001 policies and procedures.\nRequired Experience:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.\n5+ years hands-on IT leadership and project management.\nExperience working within and configuring Amazon Web Services, Azure Cloud, Windows, and Microsoft 365 resources.\nStrong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking and cybersecurity best practices\nStrong management, communication, and leadership skills.\nExcellent organizational and problem-solving skills.\nCapacity for strategic thinking, planning, and decision-making.\nDesired:\nExperience supporting both government and commercial IT requirements.\nExperience with cybersecurity requirements, monitoring and controls (ISO 27001, NIST 800 171).\nFamiliarity with DevOps practices, code repositories, and CI tools.\nLinux system administration experience.\nCitizenship or lawful permanent resident required due to federal position.\nAbout METECS:\nWe are a high-performance team providing advanced engineering, software, and analysis solutions for human space flight and terrestrial applications.
