Learn more about our approach to automation at meter.ai.\nWhy this role matters\nMeter has ambitious growth goals as we build switching products for data center users.\nThese networks have significant feature, reliability, performance, and monitoring requirements. We’ll also be heavily scrutinized as a new vendor in this market. Your job is to work closely with our firmware and frontend teams to ensure our infrastructure scales to meet these requirements.\nYou will have an impact by\nWorking in Go and Python, ensure backwards compatibility and feature versioning across constantly evolving schemas\n\nBuild scalable pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and serving petabytes of data across Kafka, Postgres, and Clickhouse\n\nCreate CI/CD workflows that evolve the API in lockstep with changes to the underlying data schema\n\nEnable fine-grained querying of historical and real-time data for any network, at any point in time\n\nHelp define and enforce the principle of \"smart data, dumb functions\": doing as much as possible in the data layer to keep downstream code minimal\n\nCollaborate with modelers to co-design training and evaluation pipelines that are reproducible, debuggable, and fast\n\nOwn performance across key endpoints to meet real-time serving constraints\n\nCompensation\nWe think about Meter's compensation package as a combination of salary, equity, benefits, and the experience of working with a talented team to make the biggest impact of your career.\nThe estimated salary range for this role is $170,000 - $220,000.\n\nAdditionally, this role is eligible to participate in Meter's equity plan.\n\nThe salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the Bay Area.
