The FA will be responsible for various accounting functions including financial reporting, accounting transactions, reconciliations, documentation, process improvement etc. This position will interact regularly with individuals in finance, operations, external & internal audit.\nResponsibilities\nSupport month end closing process including the preparation of monthly journal entries under tight month-end deadlines;\n\nAbility to work comfortably and analyze large data sets;\n\nAnalyze assigned financial accounts on a monthly basis and prepare corresponding account reconciliations;\n\nIdentify process improvements for existing month-end close process & reconciliations, execute and deliver the same.\n\nCompile, analyze and report on key business operating metrics/drivers, including ability to link operating and financial trends and variances;\n\nAssist in develop, implement and monitor financial controls;\n\nAssist in preparation of various analyses and reports for senior management to support their business decision making;\n\nInvolvement with preparation of forecasting and business planning process;\n\nPreparation of cash forecasting including liaising with banks to assist with liquidity management;\n\nAd-hoc analyses and presentations on financial and operational results, as well as supporting any special projects\n\nRequirements\nBachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance;\n\nProfessional accounting designation or working towards a designation (CPA);\n\nMinimum two (2) years of work experience in an accounting function, with a track record of high performance;\n\nHighly proficient in Excel, including ability to use advanced functions;\n\nHighly proficient in PowerPoint;\n\nStrong attention to detail, a must, with ability to deliver management ready materials;\n\nDemonstrated leadership ability and is a team player;\n\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills and mentality;\n\nExcellent communication skills, both verbally and written;\n\nSelf-motivated and pro-active, with respect to both managing workload and professional development;\n\nEntrepreneurial focused, with a desire to learn and grow professionally and
