The Solution Architect will design best-in-class TMS solutions, stay current with the latest product innovations, and act as the functional bridge between customers, Project Managers, Technical Consultants, and third-party consultants to ensure timely, successful project delivery.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n- Drive design, optimization, and implementation of Blue Yonder TMS solutions using industry best practices.\n\n- Apply domain expertise to configure and deliver Blue Yonder solutions that best meet customer requirements and business processes.\n\n- Lead solution design - ensuring clear structure, validation tasks, and realistic timelines.\n\n- Guide system integration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment for a seamless transition to steady-state operations.\n\n- Balance project scope, timeline, and requirements to ensure timely value delivery and customer satisfaction.\n\n- Assess business needs beyond standard scope, evaluating integration complexity, architecture constraints, and product roadmap fit.\n\n- Identify and highlight incremental revenue opportunities within existing customer accounts/projects.\n\n- Communicate business cases to Product Management Group (PMG) and Product Development (PD) regarding customer-specific product needs and enhancements.\n\nExperience & Qualifications:\n\n- 10 - 15 years of overall experience in the Supply Chain domain.\n\n- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Blue Yonder Transportation Management Systems - either as a Blue Yonder customer or as an implementation consultant.\n\n- Solid experience with the software development life cycle (SDLC) and end-to-end IT project implementations.\n\n- Must have been a core team member on at least 3 full IT project implementations.\n\n- Experience with other leading supply chain planning platforms (Oracle, Manhattan, SAP) is a plus.\n\n- Prior experience in a management consulting firm or a Supply Chain Center of Excellence is preferred.\n\nSkills Required:\n\n- Strong business analysis skills with working knowledge of statistical algorithms, inventory optimization concepts, and tactical supply chain planning.\n\n- Ability to prepare and deliver presentations to user, management, and executive-level audiences.\n\n- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.\n\n- Proficiency with IT tools such as Excel, SQL, and Postman, along with general database familiarity.\n\nEducation:\n\n- Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, or Operations Research preferred.\n\n- Bachelor's degree with equivalent relevant industry experience will also be considered.\nSkills\nSolution Architect, IT Consulting, Solution Design, IT Product Development, IT Business Analyst","description_format":"text","description_chars":3129,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":10,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"India","iso":"IN","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["IT Consulting & Digital Transformation","Enterprise Apps Implementation Partners","Cloud Consulting & Migration"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-25T13:06:44Z"}],"liveness":{"score":43,"band":"fade","label":"Fading","p_open":0.85,"p_active":0.678,"p_room":0.75,"age_days":18,"expected_fill_days":22,"reasons":["seen:18","velocity","win:late"],"computed_at":"2026-09-28T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/methodhub-software-solution-architect-transportation-management-systems","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/methodhub-software-solution-architect-transportation-management-systems.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-28T06:34:52Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":4650,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":350,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-09-29T00:00:00Z"}}}
