In detail, a daily report in EPIC is used to pull all procedures from the prior day. From the EPIC report, the charge reviewer is responsible for completing an individual medical record review on all procedures and confirming all charges are accurate and in accordance with revenue policies. The daily objective is to complete the previous day’s accounts. Emails are sent out to Cath Lab staff with discrepancies to reconcile any differences, ensuring optimal charge capture. \nYour Requirements:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required and some college preferred.\nSix months prior experience preferably in a Cath Lab with history of charge capture experience preferred.\nKnowledge of Cath Lab charge capture rules and regulations preferred.\nPrior work history with EPIC preferred.\nMedical terminology knowledge required. \nMust be well organized in their work.\nMethodist Mansfield Medical Center is a 294-bed, full-service acute-care hospital serving North Texas and certified as an Advanced Primary Stroke and Heart Attack Center by The Joint Commission.
