At Methods we have fun while working hard; we are not afraid of making mistakes and learning from them.\nRole Purpose\nWe are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Engineer to design, build, migrate and support secure, reliable, and scalable cloud solutions within Microsoft Azure. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering cloud transformation initiatives, infrastructure-as-code implementations, disaster recovery solutions, and platform modernisation programmes.\nWorking within agile, multidisciplinary teams, you will provide technical leadership across the Azure estate, helping to automate infrastructure deployment, improve operational excellence, and support business-critical cloud services. You will be comfortable engaging with stakeholders, contributing to technical strategy, and mentoring engineers whilst maintaining a hands-on approach to engineering delivery.\nRequirements\nDesign, deploy and support Azure infrastructure solutions.\nDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep.\nBuild and manage Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines using YAML.\nDeliver Azure migration activities and workload onboarding.\nImplement and support Azure Site Recovery (ASR) and disaster recovery testing.\nTroubleshoot and resolve Azure, Linux and infrastructure issues.\nAutomate operational tasks using shell scripting and platform tooling.\nProduce technical documentation and operational runbooks.\nWork within Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to sprint delivery.\nMentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practice.\nEssential Skills & Experience\nStrong Azure infrastructure engineering experience.\nProven experience with Infrastructure as Code using Bicep.\nExperience building and maintaining Azure DevOps pipelines.\nStrong YAML pipeline development experience.\nExperience delivering Azure migration projects.\nHands-on experience with Azure Site Recovery (ASR).\nExperience supporting production Azure environments.\nLinux server administration experience.\nShell scripting (Bash).\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams.\nUnderstanding of Azure networking, security and identity services.\nExperience troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues.\nStrong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.\nDesirable Skills & Experience\nAzure landing zones and governance implementation.\nAzure Backup.\nAzure Monitor and Log Analytics.\nAzure Virtual Desktop (AVD).\nPowerShell scripting.\nHybrid cloud environments.\nContainer technologies such as AKS or Docker.\nExperience working within secure or regulated environments.\nMicrosoft Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305 or equivalent).\nExperience leading technical workstreams or small engineering teams.\nThis role will require you to have or be willing to go through Security Clearance.
