The engineer will collaborate with management, analysts, and stakeholders to provide reliable tools, actionable insights, and technical support.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline.\nRequired Skills and Knowledge:\nExperience designing, developing, and maintaining management planning tools to support aeronautics activities, including task plans, milestones, budgets, dashboards, and development of charts and presentations.\nMinimum 5 years of software engineering experience, with demonstrated expertise in:Software development and lifecycle management\nData analysis and data integration\nStrategic problem-solving and solution development\nProviding technical expertise across projects\n\nProficiency with:SQL databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.) and query optimization\nMicrosoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and reporting\nWeb server technologies and web-based application development\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills for presenting technical information to leadership and stakeholders.\nDesired Skills and Knowledge:\nMBA or Master’s degree in a technical or related field\nExperience working in aeronautics or aerospace organizations\nFamiliarity with enterprise-level reporting tools and advanced analytics platforms\nLOCATION SPECIFIC REQUIRMENTS: NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field CA\n\nSECURITY CLEARANCE: Applicant must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government Public Trust Clearance.
