The successful candidate is a motivated self-starter with a passion for modeling and simulation (ideally in an aerospace environment) with extensive software engineering experience. The position will work closely with software developers, data engineers, system administrators, researchers, and other technical staff to design, implement, automate, secure, and maintain the infrastructure and processes used to build, test, deploy, and operate project software.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline.\nRequired Skills and Knowledge:\n5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in software engineering, DevOps, software operations, systems engineering, cloud engineering, or a closely related technical field.\nAt least 8 years of experience developing complex, scalable applications in Java and/or another object-oriented language.\nDemonstrated proficiency in algorithm design.\nDeep knowledge of data structures and data analysis\nHave a passion for quality and writing clean, solid, readable code that scales and performs well.
