At METLEN, we foster a culture of resilience, challenge, respect, excellence, andchange, empowering our diverse workforce to achieve remarkable outcomes.\nWe are currently looking for aAccountant to join our Finance team in Zagreb, Croatia.\nBy joining this role, you will stay up-to-date and compliant with accounting, tax, and HQs rules, policies, and requirements of the legal entities in Croatia.\nYour role will encompass:\nPerform accounting activities (booking disbursements /cash receipts).\n\nPrepare payments to suppliers, monitor the receivables/payables, and reconcile bank statements for several legal entities of the group.\n\nPrepare payments on various e-banking platforms.\n\nParticipate in the cash flow recording activities (actual) within the group to ensure accurate, and timely set of cash flow analysis.\n\nPrepare and update the daily/monthly/yearly cash flow report.\n\nCollaborate with financial controlling teams to ensure the on time recording of the cash in & out activities.\n\nPrepare accounting analyses and reports when needed (cash flow reporting).\n\nAssist the Country Finance Manager and the Controllers with preparing and monitoring budgets.\n\nMaintain and reconcile the balance sheet and general ledger accounts.\n\nAssist the Finance Manager with annual audit activities.\n\nInvestigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.\n\nWhat you bring to the role:\nBachelor's degree in accounting or finance.\n\n3+ years of accounting experience, ideally within an international experience.\n\nStrong accounting and tax skills (VAT, withholding tax, CIT, etc.).\n\nStrong organizational and stress management skills (respect to deadlines in terms of tax compliance and calendar of reporting, IAS/IFRS compliant).\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.\n\nSAP knowledge is required.\n\nBenefits:\nHealth Insurance Program\nCorporate mobile phone\nCooperation, creativity and innovation: we adopt flexible cooperation models to achieve fast results and increased productivity.\nFollow us on LinkedIn and stay updated on our latest news\nWe respect your personal data.
