At METLEN, we foster a culture of resilience, challenge, respect, excellence, andchange, empowering our diverse workforce to achieve remarkable outcomes.\nWe are currently looking for an Assistant Accountant - Cash Flow to join our Finance team in Athens, Greece.\nBy joining this role, you will support the day-to-day cash flow operations of the business, ensuring the accurate recording, monitoring, and reconciliation of cash transactions. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders to support financial controls, reporting activities, and the smooth execution of cash management processes.\nYour role will encompass:\nMonitor and record daily cash movements and bank transactions\nPerform bank reconciliations and investigate outstanding items\nProcess accounting entries related to cash transactions and maintain supporting documentation\nSupport payment execution activities in accordance with internal policies and procedures\nAssist in monitoring bank account balances and fund transfers\nContribute to month-end closing activities, reconciliations, and financial reporting\nMaintain accurate records and documentation related to cash flow activities\nSupport internal and external audit requests by providing the required information\nCollaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and improve processes\nContribute to the continuous improvement of cash flow controls and reporting\nWhat you bring to the role:\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field\n2+ years of working experience in Accounting, Cash Flow, Accounts Payable, Banking, or a similar finance role\nGood understanding of accounting principles and financial processes\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel\nExperience with SAP or other accounting systems\nGood command of English, both written and verbal\nShare the same Value Based Behaviors:\nPeople & Personal Growth\nResults Orientation & Safety Excellence\nCollaboration & Trust\nEmpathy & Effective Communication\nFlexibility & Adaptability\nYour Benefits:\nCompetitive remuneration package\nTicket Restaurant Card\nGroup Health Insurance Plan\nPreferential household electricity plan\nPension Plan\nFollow us on LinkedIn and stay updated on our latest news\nWe respect your personal data.
