At METLEN, we foster a culture of resilience, challenge, respect, excellence, andchange, empowering our diverse workforce to achieve remarkable outcomes.\nWe are currently searching for aContracts Administrator to join our Grid & Digital Solutions department, as part of the Thermal Power & HVDC division of Metlen, for the EGL1 Project, based in Torness, Scotland.\nYour role will encompass:\nAdminister and maintain subcontractor and supplier contracts.\nSupport the preparation, review, and issuance of contractual documentation.\nMaintain contract registers, change logs, and project records.\nTrack and monitor contract variations, notices, and compensation events.\nCoordinate contractual correspondence between project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.\nEnsure compliance with contractual obligations, project procedures, and company standards.\nSupport the Commercial Manager and Quantity Surveyors with contract administration activities.\nAssist with subcontractor onboarding, documentation, and compliance checks.\nMaintain accurate records of insurances, warranties, and contractual deliverables.\nPrepare contract-related reports and provide updates to project management teams.\nSupport audits and document control activities as required.\nLiaise with procurement, finance, and project teams to ensure timely processing of contractual information.\nWhat you bring to the role:\nMinimum 2 years experience in a Contracts Administrator, Commercial Administrator, Project Administrator, or similar role.\nExperience working within construction, infrastructure, utilities, energy, power transmission, or engineering projects.\nUnderstanding of contract administration and commercial processes.\nKnowledge of NEC contracts would be highly advantageous.\nStrong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nProficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.\nExperience using project management or ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, COINS, or similar would be beneficial.\nPrevious experience supporting large infrastructure or EPC projects.\nExposure to power transmission, utilities, energy, or major civil engineering projects.\nFollow us on LinkedIn and stay updated on our latest news\nWe respect your personal data.
