At METLEN, we foster a culture of resilience, challenge, respect, excellence, andchange, empowering our diverse workforce to achieve remarkable outcomes.\nWe are currently looking for an Electrical & Electronic Engineer to join our team, part of our M Circular Metals Division based in Thessaloniki, Greece.\nBy joining this role, you’ll play a vital role in designing, implementing, and supporting electrical, instrumentation, automation, and control systems for industrial production lines, ensuring compliance with technical standards and operational reliability.\nYour role will encompass:\nDesigning electrical power distribution, instrumentation, automation, and control systems for industrial production lines. \nPreparing technical documentation, specifications, electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and control architectures. \nSelecting electrical and electronic equipment, instrumentation, PLC/SCADA systems, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations. \nCoordinating project timelines and activities related to electrical engineering implementation, commissioning, testing, and quality assurance. \nCollaborating with internal teams and external partners (engineering, operations, HSE, automation vendors, EPC contractors, and regulatory authorities). \nSupporting installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of electrical and automation systems during project execution. \nIdentifying and mitigating technical risks related to electrical infrastructure, instrumentation, and process control systems. \nContinuously improving system performance, reliability, energy efficiency, and operational effectiveness. \nWhat you bring to the role:\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field. \n5+ years of experience in industrial electrical engineering, automation, instrumentation, or process control systems (experience in the chemical, metallurgical, mining, or heavy industrial sector will be considered an asset). \nProficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or equivalent electrical design software. \nExperience with PLC, SCADA, DCS, instrumentation, industrial networks, and power distribution systems. \nStrong knowledge of electrical engineering standards, industrial regulations, and safety requirements. \nExcellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams. \nFluency in English (verbal and written) is required; knowledge of a second foreign language will be considered an advantage. \nAvailability for travel within and outside Europe. \nNice to have:\nExperience with commissioning and start-up of industrial plants. \nKnowledge of IEC standards, ATEX requirements, functional safety, and industrial cybersecurity principles. \nExperience with renewable energy integration, energy management systems, or advanced process automation. \nShare the same Value Based Behaviors:\nPeople & Personal Growth\nResults Orientation & Safety Excellence\nCollaboration & Trust\nEmpathy & Effective Communication\nFlexibility & Adaptability\nYour Benefits:\nCompetitive remuneration package\nTicket Restaurant Card\nGroup Health Insurance Plan\nPreferential household electricity plan\nPension Plan\nFollow us on LinkedIn and stay updated on our latest news\nWe respect your personal data.
