This role provides leadership on engineering governance, design assurance, and compliance with UK grid standards, supporting the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects.\nKey Responsibilities\nAct as technical authority for UK grid connection engineering\nEnsure compliance with ENA G81, G99/G100, DNO/IDNO and NGESO requirements\nLead design assurance and approval of LV/MV/HV grid connection solutions\nOversee engineering outputs including SLDs, protection schemes, earthing and cable design\nManage G99 applications and interface with DNOs, IDNOs and National Grid\nLead and develop a team of engineers, ensuring capability growth and high performance\nSupport project delivery across tendering, design, construction and commissioning\nMaintain strong stakeholder engagement with clients, network operators, and delivery partners\nRequirements\nDegree in Electrical Engineering or related field\nExtensive experience within a UK ICP, DNO, IDNO or consultancy\nStrong knowledge of UK grid standards and connection processes\nProven delivery of LV/MV/HV grid connection projects (11kV-400kV)\nExperience leading engineering or design teams\nFollow us on LinkedIn and stay updated on our latest news\nWe respect your personal data.
