The role involves preparing cost reports, forecasting expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and supporting financial planning to improve profitability and financial efficiency.\nKey Responsibilities\nMonitor and control project or operational costs against approved budgets.\nPrepare and maintain cost reports, forecasts, and variance analysis.\nTrack expenses and analyze deviations between actual costs and planned budgets.\nWork closely with project managers, procurement, and finance teams to ensure cost efficiency.\nReview purchase orders, invoices, and contracts to ensure proper cost allocation.\nAssist in the preparation of project budgets and financial plans.\nIdentify potential cost overruns and recommend corrective actions.\nMaintain cost control systems and financial documentation.\nSupport financial audits by providing relevant cost data and reports.\nAnalyze historical data to improve future cost estimates.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.\nProven experience in cost control, budgeting, or financial analysis (typically 2-5 years).\nStrong knowledge of financial reporting and cost management techniques.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management systems.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy.\nPreferred Skills\nExperience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).\nKnowledge of project management and cost estimation methods.\nAbility to interpret financial data and present insights clearly.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills.\nKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)\nBudget variance control\nAccuracy of cost forecasts\nTimeliness of financial reports\nCost savings achieved\nCompliance with financial procedures\nFollow us on LinkedIn and stay updated on our latest news\nWe respect your personal data.
