Reporting to the Commissioning Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the commissioning activities for the Electrical and control systems to ensure operation safely, reliably, and in accordance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.\nLocation: Brisbane, CBD\nContract Type: Full time, permanent\nAs a SCADA Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:\nSupport Project Delivery & Stakeholder Coordination\nCoordinating with project teams, contractors, vendors, clients, utilities and regulatory authorities to ensure project activities are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget.\nProvide Electrical, SCADA & Control Systems Leadership\nLeading the technical integration, configuration and optimisation of inverter stations, substations, SCADA, protection, metering, communications and control systems.\nManage Design Reviews & Technical Assurance\nReviewing engineering designs, drawings and system interfaces to ensure compliance with project specifications, regulatory requirements, industry standards and operational best practice.\nLead Testing, Commissioning & Grid Compliance\nCoordinating FAT, SAT, site integration testing, commissioning and grid compliance activities, including performance testing, issue resolution and compliance reporting.\nDrive System Performance, Troubleshooting & Cybersecurity\nAnalysing operational and SCADA data to identify and resolve technical issues, improve plant performance, and maintain OT cybersecurity, network integrity and system reliability.\nMaintain Project Governance, Safety & Documentation\nEnsuring compliance with safety, environmental and quality requirements while maintaining project documentation, technical records, progress reporting and RFI management.\nAbout You\nTo be successful in this role, you will have:\nElectrical Systems, Protection & Grid Connection\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical Engineering.\nStrong knowledge of HV/LV electrical systems, substations, protection schemes, inverter stations, balance-of-plant equipment, grid connection processes and GPS compliance requirements.\nSCADA, Control Systems & Communications\nExpertise in SCADA architecture, PLCs, RTUs, IEDs, communications networks, PPC/PPM systems, system integration and control philosophies.\nCommissioning, Testing & Technical Troubleshooting\nSound understanding of FAT, SAT, commissioning methodologies, electrical testing procedures, technical diagnostics and performance optimisation of renewable energy assets.\nIndustry Standards, Safety & Compliance\nKnowledge of Australian renewable energy regulations, HV electrical safety requirements, risk management practices, IEC standards (including IEC 61850) and utility compliance obligations.\nIndustrial Networks & OT Cybersecurity\nUnderstanding of industrial communications networks, remote communications, network architecture, cybersecurity principles, access controls, firewalls, backup and recovery processes.\nTechnical Design, Project Delivery & Stakeholder Management\nAbility to interpret engineering documentation, utilise design and project management software, and effectively coordinate with internal teams, contractors, clients and regulatory stakeholders.\nDoes this sound like you?\nIf this sounds like an interesting opportunity, please apply by submitting your application.\nFollow us on LinkedIn and stay updated on our latest news.\nWe respect your personal data.
