This is an exciting opportunity to work on Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and major grid-connection projects, contributing to the delivery of critical renewable energy infrastructure.\nYou will support the Project and Construction Teams in the supervision and execution of electrical installation works on site, ensuring safe delivery, quality assurance and compliance with engineering specifications, programme milestones and applicable German standards.\nYour Role Will Encompass:\nSupervise electrical subcontractors during the installation of low- and medium-voltage (LV/MV) systems, including cabling, panels, switchgear, transformers and inverters, where applicable.\n\nEnsure electrical installations comply with approved designs and specifications, including cable routing, terminations, earthing and bonding.\n\nReview and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), cable schedules and technical documentation.\n\nCoordinate electrical works with civil and other engineering teams to ensure efficient site execution.\n\nSupport inspection, testing and commissioning activities, including insulation resistance and continuity testing where applicable.\n\nMonitor site progress and subcontractor performance, proactively identifying technical issues, risks and delays.\n\nMaintain accurate quality, inspection and testing documentation to ensure traceability.\n\nSupport pre-commissioning, energisation, grid-connection activities and final project handover.\n\nEnsure works comply with applicable German electrical standards, project specifications and safe systems of work.\n\nPromote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with HSE requirements throughout site activities.\n\nWhat We're Looking For:\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or a related discipline.\n\nAt least 3 years of experience in electrical site engineering within construction, power infrastructure or renewable energy projects.\n\nProven experience supervising subcontractors and delivering electrical works on site.\n\nStrong understanding of LV/MV systems, grid connections and renewable energy infrastructure.\n\nExperience with electrical inspection, testing, commissioning and QA/QC processes.\n\nKnowledge of applicable German DIN/VDE standards and grid-connection requirements, or the ability to work confidently within these frameworks.\n\nAbility to interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams and technical documentation.\n\nExcellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.\n\nA proactive approach with a strong commitment to quality, safety and delivery excellence.\n\nProfessional German-language proficiency at B2-C1 level.\n\nWillingness to work on site in Bavaria five days per week, with Saturday work when required by project needs.\n\nShare the Same Value-Based Behaviours:\nPeople & Personal Growth\n\nResults Orientation & Safety Excellence\n\nCollaboration & Trust\n\nEmpathy & Effective Communication\n\nFlexibility & Adaptability\n\nBenefits:\nAttractive remuneration package.\n\nOn-site accommodation, where applicable.\n\nRental car and project travel support, where applicable.\n\nFood allowance.\n\nFuel or travel allowance, where applicable.\n\nFollow us on LinkedIn and stay updated on our latest news.\nAt METLEN, we combine industrial expertise with a global outlook to help shape a more sustainable future.
