This is an exciting role offering the opportunity to work on large-scale Solar and BESS projects and help deliver the UK’s clean energy future.\nYou will be required to support the Project and Construction Teams in the planning, coordination and execution of Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects; ensuring safe delivery, quality assurance, and compliance with engineering standards, programme milestones, and contractual requirements.\nYour role will encompass:\nSupport the on-site delivery of Solar PV and BESS projects from construction through commissioning.\nCoordinate daily site engineering activities across civil, electrical, and mechanical workstreams.\nReview and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.\nMonitor site progress against programme milestones and support schedule reporting.\nEnsure works are executed in accordance with design, quality standards, and HSE requirements.\nLiaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve technical and construction issues.\nAssist with inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover documentation.\nMaintain accurate site records, including progress reports, RFIs, and as-built documentation.\nSupport risk assessments, method statements, and permit processes.\nPromote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies and UK regulations.\nWhat you bring to the role:\nBachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).\n2+ years of experience in site engineering within construction, infrastructure, or energy projects.\nExperience working on renewable energy, Solar PV, or BESS projects is highly desirable.\nStrong understanding of construction practices, drawings, and project delivery methods.\nKnowledge of HSE standards and quality assurance processes.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.\nAbility to work across multiple sites and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with project management tools is a plus.\nFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.\nShare the Same Value Based Behaviours:\nPeople & Personal growth\nResults orientation & Safety excellence\nCollaboration & Trust\nEmpathy & Effective communication\nFlexibility & Adaptability\nYour benefits:\nAttractive remuneration package\nPrivate Medical Insurance\nOn site accommodation\nRental Car\nFood allowance\nFollow us on LinkedIn and stay updated on our latest news\nWe respect your personal data.
