At METLEN, we foster a culture of resilience, challenge, respect, excellence, andchange, empowering our diverse workforce to achieve remarkable outcomes.\nWe are currently looking for an Energy OT Network Engineer to join ourEnergy Technology Division, based in Paiania, Greece.\nAs part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing secure, resilient and supportable OT network architectures across METLEN’s Energy assets and EPC projects. You will turn OT cybersecurity architecture into secure connectivity through segmentation, firewalling, remote access, hardening and site remediation. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Energy business units, engineering, IT, the CISO organization and external partners to align execution with business priorities and operational needs.\nWe are looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and brings a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. The successful candidate should be comfortable navigating ambiguity, influencing without direct authority and driving alignment across diverse teams, with a strong sense of ownership, accountability and continuous improvement.\nYour role will encompass:\nDesigning and documenting secure OT network architectures forOT assets (PV, Wind, Hydro, BESS, Hybrid, Thermal), andEPC environmentsacross the world.\n\nImplementing and maintainingnetwork segmentation, industrial DMZs, firewallpolicies, secure remote accessand controlled data flows.\n\nReviewing network designs, configurationsand bills of materials to ensure compliance with OT cybersecurity standards and project requirements.\n\nPerforming configuration reviews, hardening, troubleshooting and remediation of industrial switches, routers, firewallsand related infrastructure.\n\nSupporting FAT/SAT, commissioning, handover and change activities with network security tests, evidenceand updated as-built documentation.\n\nCoordinating connectivity and integration with SCADA, historians, plant controllers, OEM platforms, IT servicesand OT monitoring solutions.\n\nMaintaining OT network diagrams, configuration baselines, backup and recovery arrangementsand approved access paths.\n\nSupporting vulnerability assessments and incident investigations involving OT networks, communicationsand remote connections.\n\nCollaborating with clients, site engineers, EPC teams, IT networking, CISO, vendorsand integrators to resolve technical dependencies and risks.\n\nCompliance with NIS2, Cybersecurityframeworks, ISO 27001and other country legislation\n\nWhat you bring to the role:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Network Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Scienceor a relatedfield.\n\n3+ years of experience in network engineering, with relevant exposure to OT/ICS or industrial environments.\n\nStrong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, network segmentationand secure remote access.\n\nUnderstanding ofindustrial protocols and systems such as Modbus TCP, DNP3, IEC 60870-5-104, OPC UA, SCADAand plant controllers.\n\nExperience with network design documentation, configuration management, troubleshootingand commissioning.\n\nKnowledge of ISA/IEC 62443 network architecture concepts and OT security good practices.\n\nRelevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, PCNSE, Fortinet NSE, IEC 62443 or equivalent are considered a plus.\n\nAbility to work safely in operational sites and coordinate effectively with engineering, ITand external vendors.\n\nShare the same Value Based Behaviors:\nPeople & Personal growth\n\nResults orientation & Safety excellence\n\nCollaboration & Trust\n\nEmpathy & Effective communication\n\nFlexibility & Adaptability\n\nYour Benefits:\nCompetitive remuneration package\n\nTicket Restaurant Card\n\nGroup Health Insurance Plan\n\nPreferential household electricity plan\n\nPension Plan\n\nFollow us on LinkedIn and stay updated on our latest news\nWe respect your personal data.
