At METLEN, we foster a culture of resilience, challenge, respect, excellence, andchange, empowering our diverse workforce to achieve remarkable outcomes.\nWe are currently looking for an HSE Supervisor to join our EPC team in Croatia.\nYour role will encompass:\nEnsure compliance with all statutory legislation including (but not limited to) Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), Workplace, Health, Safety (WHS),Environment Protection and Quality Management\nProvide effective QHSE support to the Board, Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and work groups \nProvide QHSE reports to the Board, the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and work groups\nEnsure and effectively manage compliance of QHSE systems and processes through the coordination of internal audits, inspections and training \nEnsure compliance of QHSE training within Corporate Training Needs Analysis (TNA)\nDevelop and maintain a professional relationship with clients and other stakeholders\nEnsure all work carried out complies with Metlen Quality, Health, Safety and Environment requirements at all times and in accordance with Metlen policies objectives and targets\nFoster a positive working relationship with contractors and escalate/report issues as per agreed framework\nReview Safety Reporting actively identifying areas of increased incident / risk, provide solutions / recommendations to Project Manager to address\nRepresent QHSE of Metlen during internal and external construction audits, as well as ensure its positive outcome\nContribute to lessons learned and further development and improvement of construction and operational methods on future projects\nManage delivery of National QHSE Framework whilst supporting improvements and initiatives for the organisation\nEnsure Metlen group level QHSE improvements and initiatives are delivered \nMaintain a ‘Safe Working Culture’ on site through ongoing active engagement and education of leaders and the workforce\nManage performance of QHSE Department\nManage Continuous Professional Development (CPD) of QHSE Department\nEnsure group level and local QHSE targets and objectives are met\nDisseminate QHSE related information within the organisation\nWhat you bring to the role:\nBachelor's degree in Work Health and Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering, or a related discipline; a postgraduate qualification is considered an advantage\n8+ years of experience in QHSE roles, including at least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial position\nExtensive experience within civil, mechanical, electrical, infrastructure, or renewable energy construction environments\nStrong knowledge of Croatian health, safety, environmental, and quality legislation\nProven experience developing, implementing, and maintaining management systems aligned with ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 9001:2015\nDemonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders\nExcellent communication, organisational, and time management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior leadership, employees, contractors, and external partners\nProficiency with QHSE and business software platforms, including HammerTech, SharePoint, Procore, Microsoft Office, and Xero\nExperience in the renewable energy sector (Solar, BESS) is considered a strong advantage\nShare the same Value Based Behaviors:\nPeople & Personal growth Results orientation & Safety excellence \nCollaboration & Trust \nEmpathy & Effective communication \nFlexibility & Adaptability \nYour Benefits:\nHealth Insurance Programme \nCooperation, creativity and innovation: we adopt flexible cooperation models to achieve fast results and increase productivity\nFollow us on LinkedIn and stay updated on our latest news\nWe respect your personal data.
