At METLEN, we foster a culture of resilience, challenge, respect, excellence, andchange, empowering our diverse workforce to achieve remarkable outcomes.\nWe are currently looking for an OT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team, based in Volos, Greece.\nBy joining this role, you'll be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and continuously improving OT infrastructure and industrial systems, ensuring the secure, reliable, and uninterrupted operation of manufacturing and critical operational environments. As part of the OT Infrastructure team, you will provide Level 2 technical support, troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to maintain high system availability.\nYour role will encompass:\nProviding Level 2 technical support for OT infrastructure, industrial systems, and manufacturing environments.\n\nAdministering and supporting OT servers, virtualization platforms, and industrial workstations.\n\nSupporting and maintaining industrial network infrastructure, including Cisco networking equipment, Industrial Ethernet switches, and wireless connectivity.\n\nMonitoring OT infrastructure health and responding to incidents using monitoring tools such as SolarWinds and Nagios.\n\nPerforming troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution for network, server, virtualization, and OT infrastructure-related incidents.\n\nSupporting backup, recovery, patch management, and preventive maintenance activities across OT systems.\n\nAssisting with the implementation and maintenance of OT cybersecurity controls, including endpoint protection, secure remote access, and vulnerability remediation.\n\nSupporting firewall, VPN, network segmentation, and secure remote access solutions in collaboration with IT and Cybersecurity teams.\n\nManaging user requests, incidents, changes, and technical documentation using ServiceNow and other collaboration tools.\n\nSupporting system upgrades, infrastructure changes, testing, and commissioning activities.\n\nCoordinating with equipment vendors and third-party providers for issue resolution and maintenance activities.\n\nMaintaining accurate technical documentation, asset inventories, and configuration records.\n\nCollaborating with Engineering, Production, Maintenance, Automation, and IT teams to ensure high availability and continuous improvement of OT infrastructure.\n\nWhat you bring to the role:\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Automation Engineering, or a related field.\n\n3+ years of professional experience in OT Infrastructure, Industrial Systems, IT Infrastructure, or Technical Support roles.\n\nExperience supporting Windows Server environments, virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi or similar), and industrial workstations.\n\nGood knowledge of Cisco networking technologies, Industrial Ethernet, TCP/IP networking, VLANs, and network troubleshooting.\n\nExperience with infrastructure monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, or similar.\n\nExperience with backup and recovery solutions such as Commvault or Veeam.\n\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, or other cybersecurity and monitoring solutions is considered an asset.\n\nKnowledge of firewalls, VPNs, secure remote access technologies, and network segmentation principles.\n\nExperience working with ServiceNow or similar IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms.\n\nExposure to SCADA and industrial automation platforms (WinCC, Wonderware/AVEVA, SINUMERIK, or similar) will be considered an asset.\n\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.\n\nFluency in English (verbal and written).\n\nShare the same Value Based Behaviors:\nPeople & Personal Growth\n\nResults Orientation & Safety Excellence\n\nCollaboration & Trust\n\nEmpathy & Effective Communication\n\nFlexibility & Adaptability\n\nYour Benefits:\nCompetitive remuneration package\n\nTicket Restaurant Card\n\nGroup Health Insurance Plan\n\nPreferential household electricity plan\n\nPension Plan\n\nFollow us on LinkedIn and stay updated on our latest news\nWe respect your personal data.
