At METLEN, we foster a culture of resilience, challenge, respect, excellence, andchange, empowering our diverse workforce to achieve remarkable outcomes.\nWe are currently looking for an Energy Data & Commercial Analyst to join our B2B team as part of our Fully Integrated Energy Utility Division, based in Paiania.\nBy joining this role, you will support the development of profitable energy solutions through customer portfolio analysis, energy market monitoring, financial modeling, and data-driven insights. You will work closely with Sales and other business teams to optimize customer offerings, support pricing and commercial decisions, and identify opportunities for portfolio growth and profitability.\nYour role will encompass:\nAnalyzing a large and diverse B2B energy customer portfolio, combining consumption, commercial, and energy market data to identify trends, cost drivers, risks, and commercial opportunities.\nMonitoring and analyzing wholesale energy markets, including electricity and natural gas prices, forward markets, and key market drivers.\nDeveloping analytical models to assess customer profitability, energy costs, pricing, and portfolio performance.\nUsing Python and SQL to process, transform, analyze, and automate large-scale energy and customer datasets.\nSupporting Sales teams with data-driven analyses for major customers, new deals, and pricing decisions.\nDeveloping and implementing P&L analyses for major customers using Power BI.\nWhat you bring to the role:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or another quantitative field; a relevant Master’s degree is a plus.\n2+ years of experience in data analytics, energy analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role, with a good understanding of energy markets considered a strong advantage.\nStrong knowledge of Python and SQL for data analysis and automation.\nGood knowledge of Power BI and data visualization, combined with advanced Excel skills.\nExperience working with large datasets, data transformation, and analytical modelling, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nCollaborative mindset and strong communication skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights and work effectively across different teams.\nShare the same Value Based Behaviors:\nPeople & Personal Growth.\nResults Orientation & Safety Excellence.\nCollaboration & Trust.\nEmpathy & Effective Communication.\nFlexibility & Adaptability.\nYour Benefits:\nCompetitive remuneration package. \nTicket Restaurant.\nPreferential household electricity plan. \nGroup Health Insurance program. \nPension Plan. \nFollow us on LinkedIn and stay updated on our latest news\nWe respect your personal data.
