At METLEN, we foster a culture of resilience, challenge, respect, excellence, andchange, empowering our diverse workforce to achieve remarkable outcomes.\nWe are currently searching for a Site Electrical Engineer to join our Power Technologies department of the M-RESET divison for the construction of an OCGT project based in Eye Airfield, Suffolk, UK.\nYour role will encompass:\nSupervising the execution of electrical works on site in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and applicable standards\nMonitoring the installation of electrical equipment, cable systems, earthing systems, and associated infrastructure\nCoordinating and supervising subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient execution of works\nRecording daily productivity and monitoring construction progress\nMaintaining records of installed equipment, completed works, outstanding activities, and site issues\nReporting technical issues and construction challenges to the engineering team and supporting their resolution\nEnsuring the timely availability of electrical equipment and materials on site\nPerforming quality inspections to verify compliance with project requirements and safety standards\nSupporting testing, commissioning, and handover activities\nMonitoring progress and reporting any schedule deviations or risks to site management\nEnsuring compliance with HSE requirements throughout all electrical activities\nWhat you bring to the role:\nUniversity Degree or Technical Diploma in Electrical Engineering\n4+ years of experience in electrical construction projects, preferably within substations, power generation, industrial, or energy infrastructure projects\nExperience supervising electrical installation subcontractors\nGood understanding of electrical drawings, specifications, and construction practices\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications\nExcellent command of the English language\nStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment\nShare the Same Value:\nPeople & Personal growth \nResults orientation & Safety excellence \nCollaboration & Trust \nEmpathy & Effective communication \nFlexibility & Adaptability \nYour Benefits:\nCompetitive remuneration package\nGroup Health Insurance\nCooperation, creativity and innovation: we adopt flexible cooperation models to achieve fast results and increase productivity\nFollow us on LinkedIn and stay updated on our latest news\nWe respect your personal data.
