At METLEN, we foster a culture of resilience, challenge, respect, excellence, andchange, empowering our diverse workforce to achieve remarkable outcomes.\nWe are currently looking for a Technical Studies Engineer to join our team, part of our M Circular Metals Division based in Sindos-Thessaloniki, Greece.\nBy joining this role, you will play a key role in the preparation, coordination, and management of technical studies and engineering documentation for investment projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards, quality requirements, and project objectives.\nYour role will encompass:\nPreparing and coordinating multidisciplinary technical studies and engineering documentation.\nGathering and analyzing technical data, identifying risks, and developing alternative technical solutions.\nCoordinating and reviewing studies delivered by external engineering consultants and partners.\nSupporting project budgeting, procurement activities, and project scheduling.\nPreparing, reviewing, and managing technical specifications, drawings, standards, and project documentation.\nCoordinating with suppliers, contractors, engineering partners, and internal stakeholders.\nManaging technical issues, deviations, and required corrective actions throughout project execution.\nSupporting the implementation and continuous improvement of management systems, internal audits, and quality processes.\nMonitoring project costs, technical performance, quality, and compliance with approved studies and specifications.\nSupporting the evaluation of suppliers, materials, equipment, and technical services.\nParticipating in the performance evaluation and optimization of newly commissioned installations.\nWhat you bring to the role:\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.\n3+ years of experience in engineering studies, technical project coordination, or investment projects, preferably in an industrial environment.\nExperience in multidisciplinary engineering studies and technical documentation.\nGood knowledge of engineering standards, regulations, and project management principles.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nProficiency in MS Office and relevant engineering/design software.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.\nFluency in English, both verbal and written.\nAvailability for travel, when required.\nNice to have:\nExperience in industrial or CAPEX projects.\nKnowledge of ISO management systems and quality processes.\nExperience with AutoCAD, BIM, ERP, or project/document management systems.\nPostgraduate studies or certification in Project Management or Engineering Management.\nShare the same Value Based Behaviors:\nPeople & Personal Growth\nResults Orientation & Safety Excellence\nCollaboration & Trust\nEmpathy & Effective Communication\nFlexibility & Adaptability\nYour Benefits:\nCompetitive remuneration package\nTicket Restaurant Card\nGroup Health Insurance Plan\nPreferential household electricity plan\nPension Plan\nFollow us on LinkedIn and stay updated on our latest news\nWe respect your personal data.
