At METLEN, we foster a culture of resilience, challenge, respect, excellence, andchange, empowering our diverse workforce to achieve remarkable outcomes.\nWe are currently looking for a Warehouse Coordinator to support our EGL1 site execution team within the Grid & Digital Solutions department of the Thermal Power Plants & HVDC division of Metlen, based in Murton, UK.\nWhat your role will encompass:\nCoordinate day-to-day warehouse operations, including the receipt, storage, handling, and issuance of materials and equipment.\nEnsure accurate recording of inbound and outbound materials within warehouse systems.\nMaintain inventory control, stock levels, and material traceability.\nPerform regular stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records.\nCoordinate material deliveries and dispatches in line with project requirements and construction schedules.\nEnsure correct labeling, storage conditions, and segregation of materials.\nLiaise with Procurement, Logistics, and Site Construction teams regarding material availability, shortages, and discrepancies.\nEnsure compliance with HSE requirements, warehouse safety procedures, and company policies.\nMaintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse facilities at all times.\nSupport audits, inspections, and reporting activities related to warehouse and inventory management.\nPrepare and submit warehouse reports as required by project management.\nWhat you bring to the role:\nDiploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.\nMinimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse coordination, logistics, or material control, preferably within construction, EPC, energy, infrastructure, or industrial projects.\nPrevious experience supporting large-scale site-based projects is highly desirable.\nGood knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse procedures.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams and external suppliers.\nGood command of the English language, both written and verbal.\nFollow us on LinkedIn and stay updated on our latest news\nWe respect your personal data.
