ADLS Gen2.\nLead and support data modernization and migration initiatives to Azure.\nPerform solution assessment, complexity analysis, and migration planning.\nDevelop scalable data pipelines using PySpark, Spark SQL, and Azure Data Factory (ADF).\nImplement data engineering best practices including SCD, CDC, UPSERT/MERGE, and data quality frameworks.\nOptimize data processing performance, storage design, and cloud costs.\nDesign partitioning, data distribution, and performance tuning strategies.\nMentor team members and establish coding standards and engineering best practices.\nDrive adoption of AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve productivity and code quality.\n\nRequired Skills\n\nStrong hands-on experience with:\nAzure Synapse Analytics\nAzure Databricks\nPySpark\nSpark SQL\nAzure Data Factory (ADF)\nAdvanced SQL expertise across platforms such as:\nOracle\nSQL Server\nPostgreSQL\nExperience with Git/GitHub, CI/CD, and Azure DevOps.\nStrong understanding of:\nData Warehouse Concepts\nMedallion Architecture\nData Governance\nData Security (RBAC, Key Vault)\nExperience designing scalable and enterprise-grade data platforms.\n\nGood to Have\n\nExposure to Informatica PowerCenter (IPC).\nExperience with Kafka, Azure Event Hubs, or Streaming Architectures.\nTerraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).\nPower BI and Analytics solutions.\nAI/ML integration with data platforms.\nDomain experience in Insurance or Financial
