Google BigQuery will serve as the core data platform supporting financial reporting, controlling, planning and forecasting solutions.\nYou will play a key role in the transition from SAP BW-based reporting to a scalable cloud architecture. This is a hands-on solution role requiring strong BigQuery, SQL, data warehousing and reporting expertise, combined with the ability to translate finance requirements into effective technical solutions.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and implement reporting and planning data solutions using Google BigQuery and SQL.\nDefine scalable data models, KPI structures, financial hierarchies and semantic layers for enterprise reporting.\nTranslate financial reporting, controlling, planning and forecasting requirements into technical solution designs and implementation approaches.\nEnsure solutions meet performance, scalability, maintainability, data quality and cost-efficiency requirements.\nLead solution workshops and architecture discussions with Finance, Controlling, IT and other business stakeholders.\nSupport the migration of reporting capabilities from SAP BW to BigQuery, including the transfer of business logic, calculations and hierarchies.\nDefine reconciliation and validation approaches to ensure trusted reporting results.\nSupport the integration of SAP and other finance-related source systems.\nEstablish and promote technical governance, design standards and reporting best practices.\nIdentify relevant opportunities for AI-enabled analytics and advanced forecasting capabilities.\n Essential Experience and Technical Skills\nAt least five years of experience in data warehousing, analytics engineering, business intelligence, solution design or analytics architecture.\nProven hands-on experience designing and implementing Google BigQuery solutions in production environments.\nStrong SQL development and optimization skills.\nStrong knowledge of dimensional data modelling, reporting-ready data structures, semantic layers and enterprise reporting architecture.\nExperience with data integration, reconciliation, data quality, performance tuning and cloud cost optimization.\nProven experience delivering enterprise-scale reporting, cloud data platform or modernization initiatives.\nAbility to translate complex finance and business requirements into scalable technical solutions.\nSolid understanding of financial reporting, management reporting, controlling, planning and forecasting processes.\nExperience working effectively across business and technical teams in an international environment.\nPreferred Experience\nExperience with SAP BW and SAP source systems such as SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA.\nExperience with MicroStrategy or comparable enterprise reporting platforms.\nExperience with enterprise planning and performance management platforms;
