As a leader in the electrical and lighting industries, our commitment to excellence sets us apart.\nIn this role you will:\nSell associated products at the showroom.\n\nAssist in promotions and advertisements.\n\nRead catalog or computer for replacement part stock number and price.\n\nAdvise customer on substitution or modification of part when part is not available.\n\nFill customer orders from stock.\n\nPrepare sales slip and receive payment.\n\nMark and store parts in stockroom or area according to prearranged system. May take inventory of stock.\n\nKeep showroom neat and orderly.\n\nOn occasion there may be a need to:\nPlace new merchandise on display.\n\nReceive, hang, remove, pack, and ship products.\n\nWhat you bring to the table:\nSomeone who is comfortable meeting people, helping fulfill their needs in any capacity. Sales experience is desired but not required. We want someone who has a passion for what they do and sees their work as an opportunity, not a job. Some of the skillsets we find valuable are listed below:\nExtremely outgoing and social personality\n\nA self-motivator\n\nHigh attention to detail\n\nDesire to problem solve\n\nReliable and punctual\n\nCreative minded\n\nStrong customer service skills\n\nExperience in the lighting industry is a plus, but not required\n\nEducation: High school or equivalent preferred\n\nCompensation Details: The expected pay rate for this position is starting at $18.00 per hour, depending on experience. This position is also incentive eligible, based on specific and relevant business metrics.\nWork Shift and Hours: This is a full-time hourly, retail sales position. Shifts vary week to week and include weekends and one possible evening a week (7PM).
