METRO opened its first cash & carry wholesale center in Pakistan in 2007 & expanded to 5 wholesale centers in a short span of 18 months. In July 2012 METRO and Makro-Habib combined their wholesale business in Pakistan marking the beginning of a long-term partnership to the mutual benefit of both companies. The merger allowed METRO and Makro-Habib to combine resources and gain the financial strength to lead and grow in a challenging environment and to gain synergies targeted to generate value for our customers and suppliers alike. Today the company is operating 10 wholesale centers in Lahore, Karachi, Multan, Islamabad & Faisalabad.

- Manage all administrative tasks in MMS related to supplier and article master data maintenance, ordering, and stock management.
- Assist in conducting partial and annual inventories.
- Maintain and file all documents in compliance with SOPs.
- Make MMS entries based on duly authorized forms and approvals.
- Prepare reports for Head Office and the Store Manager as required.
- Manage store ordering and follow-up activities.
- Distribute all price updates to the relevant departments.
- Check METRO Post and compare prices and product availability.
- Enter stock corrections/local article changes into the system and ensure they are updated by the following day.
- Distribute MMS reports on a daily basis.
- Perform manual ordering in accordance with SOPs.
- Ensure stock availability and maintain optimal stock days.
- Coach and train team members on existing and new concepts, technologies, and functionalities to support the achievement of team objectives, enhance technical skills, and promote a positive attitude and professional growth.
- Monitor the performance of all team members to identify gaps between expected and actual productivity levels.
