The ideal candidate has strong enterprise storage experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and enjoys working closely with customer engineering teams in a highly secure environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nServe as the onsite technical resource supporting the migration from NetApp to Pure Storage FlashArray.\nAssist with daily administration and operational support of the storage environment.\nMonitor storage health, availability, utilization, and capacity, proactively identifying potential issues.\nAnalyze storage performance and recommend optimization opportunities.\nSupport storage provisioning, volume management, snapshots, replication, and capacity planning.\nAssist with upgrades, firmware updates, patches, and lifecycle management activities.\nTroubleshoot storage hardware, software, and performance issues while coordinating with vendor support as needed.\nParticipate in preventive maintenance activities and operational health reviews.\nSupport incident, problem, and change management processes, including ticket management and documentation.\nAssist with implementing recommendations from availability, capacity, and performance assessments.\nConduct storage configuration reviews and validate adherence to operational best practices.\nEvaluate new Pure Storage features and functionality and assist with implementation planning.\nDevelop and maintain operational documentation and standard operating procedures.\nCustomer Success & Advisory Responsibilities\nSupport customer staff throughout the transition to the new storage platform.\nProvide technical guidance on day-to-day operations within the Pure Storage environment.\nRecommend best practices for provisioning, storage management, and operational processes.\nAssist customer teams with configuration reviews and optimization efforts.\nDeliver informal knowledge transfer and mentoring to customer administrators.\nAssess customer operational readiness and recommend additional training where appropriate.\nPartner with infrastructure and operations teams to ensure a successful production environment.\nRequired Qualifications\n5+ years of enterprise storage engineering or storage administration experience.\nExperience administering enterprise storage platforms such as:Pure Storage FlashArray\nNetApp\nDell EMC\nHPE\n\nStrong understanding of:Block and file storage\nSAN and NAS technologies\nFibre Channel\nStorage networking\nCapacity planning and performance tuning\n\nExperience performing storage migrations or technology refresh projects.\nStrong troubleshooting skills across enterprise storage environments.\nExperience working directly with customer operations teams.\nExcellent communication and documentation skills.\n Active TS/SCI Security Clearance required.\nAbility to work full-time onsite within a secure (Dark Site) environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPure Storage FlashArray administration experience.\nPure Storage certifications.\nExperience migrating from NetApp to Pure Storage.\nFamiliarity with VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization platforms.\nExperience supporting mission-critical government or defense environments.\nITIL or enterprise operational support
