This position is hands-on and onsite, with responsibility for network operations, security, troubleshooting, infrastructure improvements, and project delivery.\nThe ideal candidate has strong experience with Cisco networking, Palo Alto firewalls, VMware NSX, SD-WAN, and enterprise data center networking and is comfortable supporting highly available and regulated environments.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, data center, wireless, VPN, and SD-WAN environments.\nConfigure and troubleshoot Cisco routers and switches and Palo Alto Networks firewalls.\nAdminister firewall policies, NAT, VPN connectivity, network segmentation, and security controls.\nSupport VMware NSX and software-defined networking environments.\nTroubleshoot complex routing, switching, connectivity, firewall, and performance issues.\nSupport multi-site WAN connectivity, branch offices, third-party connections, and carrier services.\nParticipate in infrastructure upgrades, network refreshes, disaster recovery testing, and change activities.\nMonitor network availability, security, and performance and recommend improvements.\nMaintain network diagrams, configurations, operational documentation, and standards.\nCollaborate with local Phoenix-based infrastructure teams as well as cloud, security, systems, and application teams.\nParticipate in after-hours maintenance and on-call activities as needed.\nRequired Qualifications\nMust currently reside in the Greater Phoenix, AZ metropolitan area.\n 5+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.\nStrong hands-on experience with:Cisco routing and switching\nPalo Alto Networks firewalls\nVMware NSX\nEnterprise WAN and SD-WAN\n\nStrong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, NAT, and high-availability networking.\nExperience with Palo Alto Panorama.\nExperience supporting enterprise data center environments.\nStrong troubleshooting and communication skills.\nAbility to work onsite in the Phoenix area on a regular basis.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting financial services or other regulated environments.\nAzure or AWS networking experience.\nFamiliarity with Python, PowerShell, Ansible, or network automation.\nCisco CCNP, Palo Alto, VMware, or similar
