This transformational transit project is in need of a Senior Project Manager, Third-Party Coordination, in order to continue to drive the ECWE forward with its key partners and stakeholders in a manner that is built on a foundation of trust, respect, collaboration and reasonableness. The Senior Project Manager, Third-Party Coordination, will lead a skilled team in working together with project staff, external transit partners and stakeholders to deliver on intended project and third-party benefits and outcomes on time, on schedule, on budget, and with a safety-first mindset.\nWhat will I be doing?\nLeading a team of subject matter experts in the fields of real estate and land acquisitions, environment, infrastructure and utilities, traffic and transportation, permits and approvals, as well as stakeholder management to support the successful delivery of the ECWE project.\n\nConducting annual internal and external resource planning activities within purview assigned by Director to ensure proportionate resources are available to meet the lifecycle needs of the project within established budget limits.\nAssign and manage work plans, assignments/deliverables of related disciplines to ensure adherence to timelines, achievement of performance objectives and develop and implement action plans to address performance gaps.\n\nDeveloping and executing strategies to accelerate ECWE design and permitting approvals by relevant authorities having jurisdiction, leveraging the tools within the Building Transit Faster Act, if and where warranted.\nFacilitate negotiations and timely decision through established governance structure with transit partners to effectively manage project delivery risks.\nChair and/or be an active participant at established governance tables.\n\nMaintaining and enhancing risk management framework, plans, reports, and related key performance indicators among accountable disciplines. \nEnsuring timely risk and issues management practices and procedures are implemented by your team and escalated through an established governance structure, as may be required, with options and recommendations for how to eliminate identified risks, or to mitigate and close out active issues expeditiously as the case may be.Prepare and present detailed reports and materials for internal and external stakeholder groups as directed, as well as work closely with communications staff in the preparation and delivery of various community engagement activities. Participate in briefings to elected officials and other external stakeholders as required.\nWhat Skills and Qualifications Do I Need?\nCompletion of a degree in Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related discipline - or a combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent.\n\nDemonstrated experience in engineering, architecture, and project management services associated with the planning, design, commercial, contract administration, and construction of transit stations or railway corridor infrastructure.\n\nDetailed understanding of different procurement strategies, delivery methodologies (DBB, DB, DBFM, DBFOM). Experience with collaborative models including Progressive Design Build is an asset.\nExceptional project management skills to lead and manage large complex projects. Valid Project Management Professional (PMP) is an asset. \nAdvanced experience in project risk management frameworks and methodologies.\nKnowledge of the Building Transit Faster Act.\nStrong stakeholder management and negotiating skills to navigate between multiple parties with differing perspectives along with interpersonal skills to develop collaborative relationships.\n\nDemonstrated ability to build relationships with stakeholders and achieve milestones in a multi-stakeholder, multi-disciplinary environment.\n\nDemonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic relationships to work across division and with internal and external stakeholders/clients.\n\nSuperior interpersonal and oral/written/presentation communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and transit partners.\n\nA valid Ontario Class ‘G’ driver’s license is required to travel to various site locations.
