Install or replace as needed.\nResponsible for moving crane in and out of jobs working closely with A/D supervisor to assure the crane is put together and taken apart safely.\nWork closely with erection foreman to ensure safest and most productive way to approach erecting the job.\nAssure that the crane is setup on developed stabilized crane road pad and is within 1% of level.\nResponsible for daily inspection to ensure safe operation.\nContact field operations whenever technical help necessary for new crane parts and repairs.\nMaintain daily work log and maintenance log.\nMust be willing to travel and stay out of town though workweek as well as work hours deemed necessary to keep job on schedule.\nMust adhere to all Metromont and OSHA safety rules and regulations.\nHousekeeping as necessary to maintain work area, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner.\nCharacteristics \nWorking knowledge of crane and crane mechanics\nAble to work on a team\nKnowledge of data entry software\nKnowledge of inventory management software\nKnowledge of Microsoft Office\nKnowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance\nAbility to access and descend from the cab of the crane\nBasic reading, writing, and math skills\nCritical thinking skills\nActive listening skills\nAbove average hand/eye coordination\nAble to adapt to changes in work schedules, tasks, or processes\nValues and demonstrates safe working behaviors\nEducation & Technology \nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent preferred\nMust be properly licensed to operate 300-ton Crawler Crane\nWork Environment/Schedule \nMonday-Friday\nSchedule varies with workload and location\nUnscheduled overtime may be required
