The role involves developing a product/service that achieves high-performance data exchange between two or more Cyber Security platforms. A Software Engineer is at the core of the evolution process and is responsible for the End-to-End delivery of the project, right from getting the requirements from customers to deploying the project for them on-prem or on the cloud, depending on the nature of the project. We follow the best practices of engineering and keep evolving. We are agile. \n\nEach integration needs reskilling yourself with the required technology for that project. If you are passionate about programming and believe in the best practices of software engineering, the following are the skills we are looking for: \n● Developer-centric culture - No bureaucracy or red tape. \n● Chance to work on 200+ security platforms. \n● Opportunity to engage with end-users (customers) and just a cog in the wheel.\n\nAbout the role\nWe are looking for passionate developers with 4-7 years of experience in software development to join the Metron Security team as Software Engineers. \n\nMandatory Skills \n6+ years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of leading engineering teams and mentoring junior developers. \nExpertise in at least one or two Object-Oriented Programming language (Python, typescript, Java,Node.js,Angular, react.js C#, C++) . \nGood knowledge of Data Structure and its correct usage. \nOversee code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and maintaining high code quality standards. \nImbibe and maintain a strong customer delight attitude while designing and building products/services.\n\nOther Requirements \nOpen to learn any new software development skill if needed for the project.\nAlignment and utilisation of the core enterprise technology stacks and integration capabilities throughout the transition states. \nParticipate in planning, definition, and high-level design of the solution and exploration of solution alternatives. \nDefine, explore, and support the implementation of enablers to evolve solution intent, working directly with Agile teams to implement them. \nGood knowledge of the implications of Cyber Security on production.\nExperience in architecting & estimating deep technical custom solutions & integrations. \nManage the customer to ensure we have a continuous flow of work from them so that the team has enough work for at least a month. \nMentor and coach team members, providing technical guidance and fostering professional development. \n\nAdded advantage: \nExperience in the Cyber Security domain.\nExperience in developing software using web technologies. \nExperience in handling a project from start to end. \nHands-on experience in an Agile Development project and in writing and estimating User Stories. \nContribution to open source -
