In this role, you will manage high-stakes deployments from initial planning through go-live handoff, developing scalable processes and operational strategies to mitigate risks, oversee complex technical architectures, and deliver recognition solutions with consistent quality.\nWhat you'll do\nDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, resource requirements, scheduling, and risk registers for each recognition deployment\nServe as the technical anchor for the project lifecycle, defining system specifications and ensuring architectural integrity from kickoff through go-live\nDefine clear scopes of work for third-party integrators, manage timelines and budgets, and conduct site audits to enforce quality standards\nAct as the primary point of accountability and contact for customers, managing expectations and providing clear context for technical decisions\nCollaborate with the Support organization to coordinate technical execution and ensure a structured handoff of fully deployed environments\nProactively identify problematic trends in current deployment processes and propose new solutions to reduce administrative overhead for technical teams\nSet quality gating criteria for project milestones and ensure system functionality matches the agreed-upon project scope\nWhat we're looking for\n10+ years of experience in technical project management, specifically leading complex infrastructure or security-related deployments\nDemonstrated experience with large-scale field deployments and operational support for distributed hardware\nFamiliarity with enterprise IP video cameras and systems, such as Axis, Avigilon, and Genetec\nAdvanced skills in risk mitigation, stakeholder management, budgeting, and sophisticated communication strategies\nProven ability to resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways and work with a high degree of autonomy\nComfort with AI tooling\nAbility to translate complex customer requirements into scalable technical designs and standardized deployment architectures\nAbility to support regional business development activity and address coverage gaps\nExperience in a high-growth or technology-driven company\nOur Stack\nFamiliarity with software-centric computer vision solutions\nLanguages + Frameworks: TypeScript, React, Scala (principally), Java (limited)\nDatastores: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Snowflake\nCloud: AWS\nVersion control: Git & GitHub\nAI Tooling: Copilot on GitHub\nObservability: Datadog\nWhen you join Metropolis, you’ll join a team of world-class product leaders and engineers, building an ecosystem of technologies at the intersection of parking, mobility, and real estate. The anticipated base salary for this position is $100,000.00USD to $175,000.00 USD annually. The actual base salary offered is determined by a number of variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location of residence and/or place of employment.
