Value for our customers. \nIf you think you can see yourself delivering our mission and pursuing our goals with us, then check out the job description below! \nWhat you’ll do: \nWork as a Database administrator as part of an agile scrum team supporting a suite of web applications for a federal government customer.\nAttend all agile ceremonies.\nComplete user stories within defined due dates as part of two-week sprints.\nAssist with optimizing database infrastructure and performance.\nWhat you’ll need to succeed: \n3+ years of total work experience in database development.\nExperience with Oracle databases in Amazon RDS instances and are proficient in SQL.\nExperience with writing new and modifying existing stored procedures/scripts/triggers.\nExperience writing batch jobs and the ability to write and query from complex databases.\nExperience collaborating with development teams to optimize query performance and troubleshoot any related issues.\nExperience with admin capabilities such as creating users/roles and database instances locally and in higher environments.\nKnowledge of IT security and data base management best practices.\nStrong knowledge of RDBMS systems.\nProficiency in writing, tuning and troubleshoot SQL queries.\nKnowledge of SQL Development tool(s) SQL Developer, TOAD, etc.\nExcellent Statistical, analytical, and conceptual thinking skills.\nAbility to quickly transition and reassess priorities to meet aggressive deadlines.\nStrong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.\nExcellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.\nThe ability to obtain and maintain DHS suitability (which requires US Citizenship).\nSALARY RANGE: $100,000 - $120,000\nThe salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience.
