In this position, you will report to the Mexico Finance Head.This role is based in Irapuato, Gto.\nTeam you will belong to\nYou will join a team dedicated to providing solutions, recommendations and preventive actions that safeguard the safety of all Metso personnel.\nWhat you’ll do\n2+ years of experience in General Ledger accounting or finance operations.\nGood understanding of basic accounting principles, financial closing, and reconciliations.\nGood analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work accurately and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nTeam-oriented mindset with ability to work in a cross-cultural international environment.\nGood communication skills and willingness to learn and support process improvements.\nAdvanced written and spoken English.\nSAP or other ERP system knowledge is considered an advantage.\nWhat you’ll bring\nProcess and monitor miscellaneous accounting transactions, ensuring accurate entries and proper supporting documentation.\nPerform verification and reconciliation of assigned balance sheet accounts.\nParticipate in month-end close activities and assigned accounting tasks.\nSupport legal compliance processes, including VAT, corporate tax, WHT, audits, and statistical reporting.\nPerform internal controls within own area of responsibility.\nHandle asset accounting activities, including depreciation, additions, disposals, and related transactions.\nHandle inquiries and respond to accounting-related queries in a timely manner.\nParticipate in process improvement initiatives and support change implementation projects.\nWhat's in it for you\n\nAn inspiring purpose - Enabling sustainable modern life.
