This includes analyzing current operations, identifying areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.\nMain Responsibilities: -\nProcess Analysis and Optimization\nEvaluate existing production processes, workflows, and systems to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.\nConduct Time/Method studies (SMED) to understand process performance.\nDevelop and implement process improvements, including layout changes, workflow modifications, and equipment enhancements.\nUse statistical methods and engineering principles to optimize processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity.\nPractical knowledge of VSM & MOST Technique.\nKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives.\nErgonomics And Workstation Design\nAssess workstations and production lines to ensure ergonomic design, minimizing physical strain and injury risks.\nRecommend and implement ergonomic improvements, such as adjusting workstations, tools, and equipment.\nConduct time and motion studies to optimize work methods and reduce operator fatigue.\nCollaborate with safety professionals to ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.\nData Analysis and Performance Measurement\nCollect, analyze, and interpret data related to production metrics, quality indicators, and resource utilization.\nIdentify trends and patterns and provide insights and recommendations for operational improvements.\nProject Management\nParticipate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving operations, efficiency, and cost reduction.\nDefine project scope, objectives, and deliverables.\nDevelop project plans, including timelines, resource requirements, and budgets.\nCollaborate with stakeholders to manage change and ensure successful implementation of projects.\nQualifications: -\nBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field with 3-5 years of experience.\nSound knowledge of industrial engineering principles, methodologies, and tools.\nExperience with processimprovement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Kaizen.\nStrong project management abilities, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.\nWe offer:\nWe offer you a challenging and responsible role in a global organization.
