At Metso, you’re supported by a growth culture built on safety, wellbeing, inclusion and collaboration.\nThis is your opportunity to make an impact and rise above the possible.\nJob posting end date: 11/15/2026\nWe are looking for aProject Manager, Plant Solutions to join our Smelting Delivery team in the Minerals business area.\nIn this role, you will lead complex global plant delivery projects across engineering, supplies, construction and start-up, ensuring financial, schedule and quality targets are met while building strong customer relationships.\nYou will report to the Director, Project Management, and the role location is Espoo, Finland, with a hybrid working model available.\nTeam you will belong to\nYou will join the Smelting Delivery team in Espoo, focused on delivering EPS and plant projects throughout the project lifecycle, from sales and tendering support through execution, commissioning, close-out, and handover to Services.\nThe team collaborates closely with customers, project stakeholders, engineering, commercial, and delivery functions across locations and cultures to ensure successful project outcomes and long-term customer value.\nWhat you'll do\nLead the global execution of plant delivery projects across engineering, supplies, construction, start-up and hand over to services, with end-to-end responsibility.\nLead the projects in accordance with Metso’s delivery model, project management practices, and business processes.\nPlan and lead projects to achieve financial, schedule, quality and customer satisfaction objectives, and report project status monthly to stakeholders.\nManage the interface between Metso and customer project execution, maintain strong customer relationships, and ensure customer needs are understood throughout delivery.\nManage project risks and opportunities.\nLead project teams in an encouraging way and uphold high safety standards and environmental awareness throughout all phases of implementation.\nIdentify additional business opportunities during project execution.\nPromote a project environment built on teamwork, accountability, professionalism, open communication, and adherence to Metso’s values, Code of Conduct, and compliance requirements\nWhat you'll bring\nRelevant degree in Engineering, Technology, Project Management, or a related field.\nStrong experience in similar project management responsibilities, including the ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary project teams and drive results.\nStrong leadership, project execution and negotiation capabilities, with the ability to manage contractual commitments, risks, and opportunities.\nAbility to build trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders across functions, locations, and cultures.\nWillingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.\nGood communication skills in English.\nWhat's in it for you\nAt Metso, you will combine meaningful work with opportunities to learn, grow, and make an impact in a supportive and inclusive environment.
