In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering proposals for crusher upgrade projects, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, competitive bids that support business growth and customer success. You will report to the Upgrade Proposals Manager.\nThis role can be based in Brookfield, Irapuato, Soocaba, or Tampere with hybrid working options available.\nApproximately 10% of travel\nTeam you will belong to\nYou will join a team of 3 proposal professionals focused on delivering high-quality technical proposals for crusher upgrades and related solutions. Our team plays a key role in supporting revenue growth and margin targets by ensuring accurate, timely, and competitive proposals, with a shared focus on delivering customer value and technical excellence. We collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including Market Areas, Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Sourcing, and Finance. Our team is based in Finland, Germany, Brazil, and other global locations, and our ways of working emphasize collaboration, accountability, and operating in a fast-paced environment.\nWhat you'll do\nManage proposal workload and timelines to ensure on-time delivery aligned with financial targets for bookings and margin.\nCoordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive proposal progress and alignment.\nPrepare accurate, high-quality proposals and supporting documentation in line with company standards.\nReview customer requests for quotation (RFQs) and distribute specifications to relevant teams for input.\nSupport bid/no-bid decisions and contribute to proposal strategy development.\nDefine project scope, value proposition, and execution plans with internal stakeholders.\nPartner with sourcing and procurement teams to develop cost estimates and assess risks and opportunities.\nReview contractual terms in coordination with legal teams to ensure compliance with company policies. \nWhat you'll bring\n5+ years of experience in proposals, project management, engineering, or sales of mining or mechanical equipment.\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mining, Mineral Processing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\nExperience working in cross-functional teams across engineering, sales, and project environments.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.\nProficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, including Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint.\nExperience with Salesforce and SAP (nice to have).\nKnowledge of crushing equipment and related products (nice to have). \nWhat's in it for you\nAt Metso, you will combine meaningful work with opportunities to learn, grow, and make an impact in a supportive and inclusive environment.
