In this role, you will manage strategic and operational sourcing activities across key commodities while ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and uninterrupted supply to production. You will play a key role in strengthening supplier partnerships and driving localisation and vendor development initiatives. You will report to the Manager, Sourcing.\nThis role is based in Alwar, India, and this role requires travel.\nWhat you’ll do\nManage sourcing activities across key commodities such as casting, forging, machining, raw materials, and metal fabrication\nFloat enquiries (RFQs), analyse quotations, and conduct cost comparisons\nLead supplier negotiations to achieve competitive pricing and commercial terms\nConvert purchase requisitions into purchase orders in SAP\nEnsure timely delivery of materials aligned with production plans\nDrive localisation and vendor development initiatives\nCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Design, PPC, Quality, Production) to ensure uninterrupted supply\nOptimise raw material utilisation through efficient nesting of parts\nWhat you’ll bring\nBachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Production Engineering or related field\n5-8 years of experience in sourcing, preferably in casting, forging and machining\nStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, technical drawings, and material specifications\nSolid experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Excel\nProven negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills\nExperience working cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and production teams\nGood understanding of raw materials such as steel plates, round bars, hollow sections and structural materials\nNice to have: knowledge of AutoCAD and nesting techniques\nGet in touch\nWant to rise above the possible with us?
