In this role, you will lead and manage the Global Electrical Engineering team, ensuring the delivery of safe, compliant, and high-quality electrical designs and control systems for Grinding equipment while driving technical improvements, standardization, and engineering excellence.\nYou will report to the VP, Project Delivery, Grinding, and the role location is Espoo, Finland; West Perth, Australia, York, USA, or Baden, Switzerland, ith a hybrid working model available. International travel is required occasionally.\nTeam you will belong to\nYou will lead the Global Electrical Engineering team within Grinding Delivery. The team is responsible for electrical, instrumentation, and control engineering activities that support the successful delivery of Grinding equipment projects and contribute to safe, reliable, and high-quality project execution.\nThe team collaborates closely with project delivery, sales, proposal, product, and engineering stakeholders across regions. Team members are based globally, supporting projects and customers across multiple locations and time zones.\nWhat you'll do\nLead, mentor, and develop the global Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control (EI&C) Engineering team.\nOversee electrical, instrumentation, and control engineering activities for Grinding equipment projects.\nEnsure project delivery meets safety, quality, schedule, cost, compliance, and technical requirements.\nManage global engineering resources and support proposal, sales, and project execution teams.\nDrive standardization, process optimization, digitalization, and AI initiatives within electrical engineering.\nBuild strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders across functions and regions.\nSupport technology development, talent development, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nWhat you'll bring\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Control Engineering, or a related field.\nExtensive experience in electrical, instrumentation, or control engineering within industrial project environments.\nProven leadership experience managing engineering teams, preferably in a global organization.\nStrong understanding of electrical design, project delivery, engineering tools, and applicable industry standards.\nAbility to lead teams, prioritize effectively, and make sound decisions in a dynamic environment.\nStrong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work effectively across cultures and time zones.\nWillingness to travel internationally as required.\nWhat's in it for you\nAt Metso, you will combine meaningful work with opportunities to learn, grow, and make an impact in a supportive and inclusive environment.
