In this role, you will manage sourcing and operational procurement activities for local and overseas projects.\nTeam youwillbelong to\nYou will join Procurement team and collaborate with Product Lines, Market Areas, Local Project Teams, Category teams, QA, suppliers, logistics, and other internal functions.\nWhat you’ll do\nHandle Crushing conveying system and bulk material handling procurement for both sourcing and operational procurement.\nProvide support for proposal for both Local projects and overseas projects.\nHandle Proposal request from Product Lines or Market areas. Clarify supply scope and technical requirement. Send RFQ and get quotation from qualified suppliers. Provide prompt feedback on proposal requests. \nWork with Product Lines and Local Project Team to implement procurement functions.\nCoordinate with Product Lines or Local Project Team to get Procurement Request. Clarify scope of supply, technical requirement, commercial terms & conditions, etc.\nIdentify qualified suppliers together with Category team.\nNegotiate POs with suppliers. Placing PO for local projects in SAP.\nExecution of POs, including, clarification on technical data/requirement/material substitute.\nExpediting schedule. Manage/resolve operational issues to ensure orders are delivered on time. Report back to Production Lines or Local Project Team on regular basis. \nIdentify problems during PO execution, evaluate cause of the problems and find solutions for corrective actions.\nCoordinate with QA team on quality inspection. Work with QA team to make sure orders are delivered to Specification.\nAssist on logistics, import/export formalities, prepare shipping document/tag wherever needed. Make sure the goods are delivered and Cargo Receipt is duly signed. Resolve any issues may arise during shipping.\nMake sure payment document is in order and milestones are met. Process payment application for local projects.\nMonitor and analyze Suppliers’ performance on an on-going basis. Update the qualified vendor list based on Supplier performance.\nManage relationship with Suppliers. Develop strong network of Metso Supplier base and establish trusted working relationship with Suppliers.\nProvide analyze report on pricing, vendor qualifications, evaluation for Supplier Database.\nOther assignment needed by the Company.\nWhat you’ll bring\nBachelor’s degree in Mining, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) may be preferred.\nProven experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.\nStrong negotiation and contract management skills.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nKnowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to procurement and sourcing.\nProficiency in using sourcing and procurement software.\nHard working, and team work spirit.\nWhat's in it for you\nAt Metso, you will combine meaningful work with opportunities to learn, grow, and make an impact in a supportive and inclusive environment.
