In this role, you will help ensure accurate inventory transactions, process compliance, and an efficient flow of materials across warehouse operations.\nYou will act as a key point of coordination between warehouse operations and internal stakeholders, while bringing strong expertise in warehouse processes and SAP transactions. You will also support the onboarding and training of warehouse employees and act as a backup for the Head of Warehousing when required.\nTeam you belong to\nYou will join our Warehousing team in Oradea, working closely with colleagues across Production, Quality, Procurement, Transportation, and Customer Service. Our focus is on ensuring safe and efficient warehouse operations, accurate inventory management, and smooth material flow to support the business.\nYou will report to the Head of Warehousing.\nWhat You'll Do\nSupport the Head of Warehousing in planning, coordinating and monitoring daily warehouse activities;\nEnsure smooth execution of inbound, storage, internal logistics, picking, packing, and shipping processes;\nProcess and verify warehouse transactions in SAP with a high level of accuracy and timeliness (EWM/IM);\nInvestigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, transaction errors, and process-related issues;\nAct as a SAP key user, providing guidance and support to warehouse personnel;\nTrain, coach, and support new warehouse employees on warehouse processes, systems, work instructions, and safety standards;\nEnsure compliance with established warehouse procedures, work instructions, quality requirements, and operational standards;\nSupport cycle counting and Physical Inventory activities;\nCoordinate communication between warehouse operations, production, quality, procurement, transportation, and customer service functions as required;\nAct as a backup for the Head of Warehousing when required;\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, and service performance;\nPromote and maintain compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements and company policies.\nWho You Are\nYou have strong knowledge of internal logistics processes.\nYou understand inbound receiving, inventory management, material handling, production supply, picking, packing, and shipping activities.\nYou possess solid SAP knowledge and can confidently execute and validate warehouse transactions.\nYou are detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high levels of inventory and transaction accuracy.\nYou are capable of training and mentoring new employees and sharing best practices with the team.\nYou are organized, proactive, and able to coordinate multiple activities in a dynamic warehouse environment.\nYou have strong communication and problem-solving skills and work effectively across functions.\nYou demonstrate accountability and can independently manage responsibilities while supporting the wider team.\nYou lead by example regarding process compliance, quality standards, and HSE requirements.\nMetso is committed to pay equity and transparent reward practices globally.
